Hi Craps Players,
I've been playing Craps seriously for about a year now. And of course, I'm sold on the advantages of Craps lessons and strategies that are available to all of us on youtube. There are many excellent teachers willing to share their ideas, strategies, and experience. My suggestion is that we all take advantage of this resource.
Now, a little 'light bulb' went off in my brain just very recently. It is this: I can know all the various Craps details, lingo, and strategies and do exceptionally well when playing at home on my practice table, but do only mediocre when playing the real live game in the casinos.
One thing I do at home is accurately keep tract of how I'm doing ( winning or losing). This helps me decide, gives me time to think out my play, on various play options as well as odds betting. In the casinos the action is usually fast and having a plan is vital so I don't get swept away in all the action and excitement going on around me.
Also, a big realization I've come to believe in is 'Trust your dice' and your 'Betting Strategy.' If you can do it at home on your practice table, you can do it at the casino. Of course there are extenuating circumstances such as random shooters and hard and soft table differences, and real money vs chips at home (that is big) but what about your 'Trust' level?
If I don't trust my skills, if I'm not playing for the fun of it along with a positive attitude, I probably should not be playing Craps.

Yes, trusting the dice is huge. But don't forget about proper rest and hydration. Those are part 2 and 3 of what I call the triangle of craps success. I can always tell if I'm losing that one of my three sides of the triangle is off.
If you can keep all three sides stable, constant trust, good sleep at night and plenty of water, even during play, you almost can't lose. The house only has one thing for them... the house advantage, while you can have three things on your side against the house. The house never has trust, rest or hydration on their side.
I should do a YouTube video on ths.

In addition to a goods night rest, consider investing in this brace to improve the form of your roll. I know it’s for bowling but I tell them it’s for my “carpal tunnel” and they don’t mind.

If trust, hydration, and rest are the triangle of Craps success, proper form is the square underneath it that creates a house of success. Keeping that wrist steady is so so important
Ever since wearing that brace I have dialed in almost every number. Still working on hitting my 7/10 thoughPlaying Craps At Home

and hard and soft table differences,

Really truly doesn't matter....unless you are in Manila, then go with the don't at both Solitaire and the new Odaka casinos. It's the bounce that matters which as you know is generally higher on a soft table.

One thing that I love about this site, is the constant reminder to stay hydrated when trying to win at dice. It cannot be underestimated.

DeMango, that's because you do not live in Vegas. But it sure had me laughing too, but to each is own, if that is really what some guy thinks, it takes to win go for it!
Note, all my post start with this is just my opinion...! You do good brada ..! superrick Winning comes from knowledge and skill when your betting and not reading fiction http://procraps4u2.myfanforum.org/index.php ...

90crapsplayer66,
A bit off topic but what kind of practice table setup do you have? I'm looking to do one myself and there are several options.

Playing Craps at Home

If you’ve ever watched a James Bond or Oceans film, or just about any film involving a casino, you will have undoubtedly seen people sitting around a table, throwing dice. This is the game of craps, and is one of the most popular casino games in the world. The simplicity of the game is one of the many reasons that so many are drawn to playing it – along with the chance of winning big prizes.

This also makes craps the perfect game to play at home with friends and guests, and if you’ve grown bored of playing card games like blackjack and poker, craps may just be the answer. Combining fun, enthralling gameplay with simple rules and a cheap setup makes craps the go-to game for anyone looking to throw a casino bash at home for their close friends.

For those interested in playing craps at home during a casino-themed party, these tips can help you turn the night into a success. Take a break from enjoying your favourite online real money pokies and learn how to make craps fun for everyone.

  1. Learn The Game

The first thing to do is learn what craps is, how it works, and what the rules are. Thankfully, this should not take more than a few minutes, as the rules are extremely easy to learn and put into action. A tip for a party is to print out the rules on small pieces of paper that you can then hand to your guests – this can help them remember the rules, even if you explain them before starting the game.

  • Fine A Playing Mat
  • Craps is based on the dice and where they land, which means that having a playing mat is absolutely essential. These mats can be bought for cheap online, and come in all shapes and sizes, accommodating a range of players. A good quality mat will also often come with its own assortment of playing aids. This can also often come with on/off pucks, which are recommended for any game.

  • The Dice
  • Another vital requirement to the game, without the dice, you can’t play at all. Dice are also one of the most diverse playing tools on the market, coming in plenty of colours, shapes, and sizes. Black dice, white dice, red dice, blue dice, the choice is yours, and can fit any theme that you have planned. It’s recommended to also get a dice boat for the dice to sit in, and these can come in either a wood finish or clear acrylic.

  • Chips Are Worth Having
  • While not necessary to gameplay, having chips makes things much easier for everyone involved. Casino chips can be bought just about everywhere, and like the dice, come in different colours, sizes, and values. Having chips also adds a level of authenticity to any craps game, making you feel like you’re on the floor of a casino earning the big bucks.

    Playing Craps Strategies

  • The Dice Stick
  • Playing Craps V2

This is what you use to move the dice around the table, and while it’s possible to make the equivalent at home, nothing beats a professional, casino-quality dice stick to give your game that touch of realism.

    How To Win Playing Craps

With the right equipment and a little know-how, craps can quickly become a favourite for both you and your friends.
